Lonza and HES-SO Valais-Wallis strengthen collaboration through the Advanced Biomanufacturing Lab.
The Advanced Biomanufacturing Lab (ABL), a joint research platform between Lonza AG and HES-SO Valais-Wallis, has been operating for several years as a key driver of innovation in industrial biotechnology. Established to address the challenges of Industry 4.0, the ABL focuses on developing industrial expertise in digitization, automation, and control of biotechnological processes.

the life of a lithium-based battery cell can be diverse, from its manufacture to the end of its life, sometimes being used in multiple applications. however, tracking where it comes from and what it has been through is not an easy task. with the increasing use of batteries, along with new eu requirements, tracking the cell’s journey with precise information is becoming essential. this is the challenge that evolium, start-up based at the energypolis campus and supported by the ark foundation, cling and traced have decided to address, forming a partnership to assess the usage of the dpp to improve battery lifecycle management.
